At TurTechs, the Graphic Designer is responsible for making our company, websites, programs, and communications look and behave like a world-class brand. You’ll be responsible for bringing a unique and powerful message to market using visual media — with an emphasis on video. The look and feel of our brand must set the tone for telling our story and rise to a high level that engages, informs, and educates our breadth of audiences which include investors, real estate brokers & agents, consumers, and internal personnel.

The Graphic Designer will work within the Marketing team while engaging directly with department leadership, production & sales, and senior management. It’s a partnership that requires excellent listening and presentation skills, attention to detail, and thoughtful cooperation.

We are a relatively new company but our principles are firmly established. The ideal candidate should understand how to mix creativity and process so that each concept is well thought out and well crafted. You’re expected to follow brand guidelines and help them evolve to become greater than they are today.

Our company intends to implement a broad use of video to convey our message and looks to this role as a planner, designer, and producer of video content. This, in concert with traditional graphic design strategies, is central to the position.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Concept and develop ideas into layouts and designs for a variety of media: digital collateral, videos, website, mobile app, email, social media, infographics, executive presentations, signage and promotional graphics, and more.
• Follow Seashine guidelines for producing content, meet the objective for each project, and work with the Director of Marketing for feedback & approval.
• Use graphics, animations, video, and photography to establish our brand in the marketplace and to educate an audience of investors, brokers & agents, and consumers about our real estate acquisition lease program.
• Work with copywriters to create artifacts at every customer touchpoint — setting the scene for each engagement.
• Plan, film, and edit videos required to educate and inform our target audience, for promos and social snippets, and to create overall branded content.
• Develop video storyboards, conduct pre-production meetings, and solve for production needs related to each shoot.
• Create animations, videos, and other digital assets as training tools for our account executives and program specialists.
• Pitch new ideas to company directors and other stakeholders that would increase brand awareness and engagement.
• Manage creative resources associated with the graphic designer job function, including video recording equipment, external storage drives, digital assets (e.g. stock photography, video, and music) and related licensing requirements, and more.
• Organize content and the resulting digital artifacts (e.g. collateral, one-sheets, etc.) to be shared with internal and external audiences, online or otherwise.
• Display reliable and professional behaviors.
• Follow the laws, rules, and regulations governing company and industry communication.
• Other duties as assigned based on business necessity.

Qualifications & Capabilities:

• Amazing amount of creativity with a commitment to high-level output.
• A portfolio that demonstrates skills and expertise using graphic design and video editing software, including but not limited to the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects).
• Ability to articulate ideas and information, and present the work.
• Enthusiasm for the job and willingness to learn things outside your knowledge base.
• Ability to work with the marketing team and senior leadership, as well as department stakeholders.
• Exceptional project and time management skills required; able to meet deadlines and objectives.
• Basic skills with using Google Drive and Microsoft Office.

Experience:

• 4+ years of experience as a graphic designer in a professional environment (agency or in-house), with expertise in video production.
• Knowledge about fundamental design concepts: typography, layout, color theory, photography, and related trends.
• Expertise in web page layout and design specific to WordPress or similar content management systems.
• Thorough understanding of communications, marketing, branding, and advertising concepts.
• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or commensurate work experience.
